As sexual concerns or difficulties so often affect the couple, it is often useful to bring your partner along with you to your consultation. If, however, you would feel more comfortable and prefer to attend on your own, a session together can always be performed at a later date if necessary.

An in-depth consultation and interview is undertaken at the first visit. Depending on the presenting complaint, a few follow-up sessions may be necessary.

Consults are an hour long.

Confidentiality is assured.

It is, however, sometimes necessary and useful to involve a multidisciplinary team. Dr Boa may find it necessary to refer you to or consult with other healthcare providers. This is always done with your consent.

Payment can be made with cash or via EFT. A portion of the consult fee, depending on medical aid scheme, can be claimed back from the medical aid by the patient.
